The strap was broken

The knife itself is perfect, but the leather sheath is ruined. The main issue with these knives is that they are assembled, placed in a sheath, and stored in a dry environment. While this minimizes the chance of rusting for the knife, the sheath tends to dry out and crumble.

The forge of the blade has some issues

The blade, where the Damascus twists into the edge, has a minor inclusion that causes the edge to tug during cutting. Although the overall knife looks well-crafted, the blade appears to be excessively etched, resulting in some inclusions in the blade edge.

The knife works good for decoration

It's quite attractive. The metal is somewhat thin, making it a lightweight knife. The wood on the handle is a bit delicate.
