A lightweight but impressive lady
My second Big Cat knife, and I have to say they're consistent. A great little knife in the $50 range with all available styling. The blade is a solid ladder Damascus with a decent edge that needs to be re-profiled and consistently maintained for field use. The handle is quite beautiful and decorative with a good feel. My only issue with this knife is the weight, or lack thereof! It's light! And by light, I mean liiiight. It feels like a paperweight, causing concern for the overall integrity of the knife if used in the field. Otherwise, I'm satisfied and would recommend Big Cat in the inexpensive blade market. 4-5 Stars.
Extremely sharp
I discovered this knife company for the first time and decided to order two knives. The initial one was a Christmas gift for my son, and I was so impressed that I got one for myself too. As you can see, both knives were incredibly sharp right out of the box. The delivery was prompt, arriving the next day, and the packaging was quite impressive, with the knife carefully wrapped in oil and plastic. My wife is also a fan and is considering ordering one for our youngest son. It just proves that you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars for a high-quality Damascus steel knife.
I've purchased the 110 folding blade, and this one is equally impressive
Very nice-looking Damascus blade, nicely finished walnut handle. The blade was fairly sharp, but not to a polished finish. It can cut paper, though. The only negative comment is on the sheath; it looked like someone was a little hurried through the stitching process. It's a keeper.
Decent for 50 bucks
It has no weight to it and feels like the handle is hollow. As for the blade, it's alright but could be better.
This piece is sturdy
I just received this, so I don't know how resilient it is. The knife itself is well made, comfortable, and sharp. I've been looking for a long knife like this, but most are over $100, and I don't make a lot of money. The sheath is well made too, so that tells you a lot. I'm very happy with it!
