The Karambit Desert Fox is nothing like the rest of the range. The 3.5 inch blade is a hawkbill, curved like a claw, with the edge on the inside of that curve, so it cuts as you pull. The ring your finger goes through is cut from the blade steel rather than bolted on, the handle is black wood over a full tang, and the whole knife is 8 inches and 5.5 oz.

Beautiful, but...

This is a beautiful blade with nice metalwork in making the Damascus steel pattern. However, the big drawback is the finger loop, which is really rough and cuts you if you go in one direction on it. Also, there's a burn mark on the top of the blade. In terms of usefulness, it's a one star, but for beauty, it's a 5 star. Overall, I'd give it 3 stars.

Very well made and certainly worth your money

The knife is exceptionally well-made; the handle securely locks into your hand, and the Damascus pattern is stunning. The blade is a bit dull, but it's nothing that poses a significant issue.
