A nice knife with a genuine pattern-welded Damascus!
Firstly, if you're questioning whether this is genuine folded pattern-welded Damascus for only $70 – it is. The acid etch reveals the authentic texture, showcasing the real deal. The blade, though not very sharp out of the box, has a strong and random pattern brought out by etching and a good polish. It features a slight recurve, adding complexity to sharpening. The handle is outstanding, fitting perfectly in hand with a secure grip, and the mosaic pin enhances its appeal. The sheath is attractive but marred by an edge-dressing substance that stains everything it touches. Despite this issue, the knife itself is a fine value and can be an excellent addition to your collection.
High-quality at a reasonable price
The knife is an all-around win. It came with a slight warp, which made it hard to use for chopping, but for the amount it costs, this blade is by far the most comfortable, pretty, and efficient blade I have ever had the pleasure of using. The handle may seem too polished and smooth, but it really is just right for a good handle. It came well packaged and well-oiled, which is a definite yes-plus when dealing with Damascus. For about 70 bucks, I would definitely call this blade a bargain. I look forward to buying more products from these guys in the future.
Great value. Well-balanced with an overall fantastic appearance
Received both knives, but the smaller one on the left was sent to me, even though I paid for the one on the right.
Instead, it was rough around the edges. I smoothed it out myself.
For the money, it's okay. It's a bit tough around the edges, and the leather sheath is on the cheaper side.
Exceptional Knife Given the Price
This is a surprisingly nice knife for the price. It's well-crafted and made from very good materials. I am very happy with this purchase.
