The Deer Hunter is the traditional drop point: a 5 inch Damascus blade with a fuller (a groove) running along it, on a 10 inch frame at 6.2 oz. The walnut handle is grooved underneath and hooks down at the butt, with a Damascus bolster and a black spacer. If you want one straightforward hunting knife, this is the shape that has done the job for generations.
